What I meant about the crying wolf is that you've said a number of times " it will be ready for 'that' show", only for it not to be. Maybe it's got to a point now that you say it'll be ready but nobody believes you anymore.
So it's not about who is going to cry wolf, but that you already have and already are the 'boy'.
I think it's a great project and admire the work you've put into it, but I think it would be a shame to show it off before it's properly finished.

That's a fair point and I respect the fact that in the past I have said It would have been ready for X,Y,Z show... and the reality of it is it WOULD have been otherwise I wouldn't have said it in the first place but X,Y & Z happened and it meant that it couldn't be ready. That's just how things go! It's not really an unveiling as such... its a necessary extended road test as the new suspension set up and ride heights have to be tested for various things to determine if this is the optimal height for show use. Also there are various safety and body stress factors that needs to be ironed out otherwise ill be painting it, go over one bump and CRACK... all down one side of the car... bye bye £3K!!

Here she is... lining up with other Z4's... only one person said he was familiar with the Z4-FORUM... but they were more than happy for me to line up with them and show off my unfinished project

Awesome, awesome... NEW FORREST summer hoon back after the show with a load of other modified cars.
