Nice dry motor
Although now I need a micro switch for the rear shelf, an when I drop the roof shortly after I get a red flashing led next to the roof switch

The micro switch is only about £20. I got one a few years back from a main dealer for £18.

Although my Z's a garage queen, I think it makes sense when back on the road next spring to future proof and have this done.
Has yours had a replacement markplant? If not its in remarkable condition

I'm beginning to think there's a pattern to the condition of these roof motors on re-location- they're either a bucket of rusty old bolts or are in pristeen condition such as mark's my own and a few others ive seen on here.
There doesnt seem to be any 'middle-ground'.
Durham Dave told me mine was the best condition he'd ever seen until about a month later when i saw on here that he'd said the same thing about a subsequent one, lol. Any theories, explanation?

Mine. Got lucky.
