jamie_z4 wrote: Sun Jul 22, 2018 4:29 pm Just what I've been told but apparently last message he sent to you was that he would look for it next time he goes in the garage, I know Mike can be frustrating sometimes getting back to you (he does it with me...) but he hasn't forgot about it I can assure you.
yeah thats what he said, on the 29th of june. Im been WAY more than patient.
honestly I'm kinda even more perplexed that your actually having to come here and speak on his behalf... just weird as hell. The effort that its took for him to have a conversation with you, it would be ALOT more easier to have just replied to a text or answer a PM or phone call. 5 seconds if that.

don't you think this is abit strange jamie??? anyway..... it is what it is.
As I said to you the last time I spoke to you, and I quote "I'll dig the pad out the next time I go in my garage" since then, I haven't been in the garage as have had other stuff taking up my time. You sending me texts saying I'm "taking the piss" really isn't constructive. I gave you a good deal on the lift, and it was YOU that offered to pay for it before collecting, as you seemed quite concerned that I would sell it to someone else, quite probably for more money. With hindsight, I wish I had have done, but I didn't because I'm a man of my word. More than happy to refund you in full, as was mentioned above.

Oh, and when you came to collect it, turning up late and then pressuring me to stop work and help you load it, YOU had ample opportunity to check the box of lifting pads to ensure they were all there, you didn't. Some may say caveat emptor, however, as I said, I will happily forward the one missing pad of 16 you say is missing WHEN I actually go into my garage. Obviously, the missing pad won't stop you from from being able to use the lift will it?

Mike

PS Road Warrior, apols for not replying. If you look at my thread titled "would anyone be interested in having their backbox modified" all of the videos are on I think, the last but one page.

Mike
15 mins late??? coming from birmingham and having to drop my son etc at school i though i did well and communicated with you the whole time. Just communicate.... its not hard mike. no respect for how you have handled this at all... pressured you to stop work, you had a sale going on with me and i need to get back to collect my son instead of bitching about it now, we talked for a while on the day and their was no indication you was annoyed with me??? , why didn't you say something on the day while i was their, i sat in the van had my lunch and waited patiently not even once was i arsey or what not so im really surprised to read the above, but ok fair enough.... The whole way you handle yourself is weak. im not really going to hand back a full lift for a jack pad am i?? you told me you'd have a look 3-4 weeks ago?, I've PM'd 3 times, called , TEXTed, and my last text YES was me losing my rag with zero communication. So now I've called you out after you plain ignore me you've spat your dummy.

anyway its clear you going to try and make this look like my fault, and im going to say its you.... we both know how it went down...... But the way you work getting messages thru to me from other people, is a joke.

All it would of took is a simple reply.... Byron haven't forgot im busy. DONE. thats all. None of this needed to happen. and you know it.

oh and BTW the exact copy and paste from you on the first and only time you spoke to me 4 weeks ago...... would you put a screen shot up showing the quote you've just given or should I?????

you sed.

"Thought I'd put them all in. It'll be either at the unit or in my garage at home. I'll have a look over the weekend"..

Yeaaa that was 4 weeks ago.... and you wonder why im pissed off when you point blank refuse to respond. You should probably put the hole message up as it pretty tame actually no bad language... no cussing... just an echo of what's been said above. infact put all the messages up and let the people decide.

you actually refused my offer of the money than text asking if I could put it in your bank as your buying an x5... I did so because you are a trusted member of the forum.

not quite telling the truth here are you.

End of the day could of been handled better, think its best left here tbh mike. Unless you want to pick up the damn phone and talk, ill be available from 4pm onwards, lets see if you call because i think we really need to have a chat.

Hey buddy finally used the lift today for the first time..... GREAT machine!! really great, perfect for what im using it for!!

upon opening up the box with all the fittings and laying it all out, one of the "rised" jack pads is missing and the blue female part that sits on the arm on the lift... defo wasn't left in the van as the box didn't turn over and i used the van for a bike ride afterwards... pretty certain its lying around in your shop and you may have forgot to pack it/ missed it in the shop , can you have a butchers for me please buddy :-).

Cheers mate.

??????????????????????

you . No response

me again
Thursday 19th july 2018

mike...... If you can't find the jacking pad. just say. don't take the piss and ignore me for weeks. i understand your busy.... no probs but to not come back to me and ignore my call, messages and pms is a piss take. I've been polite, patient and respectful i don't do all the public postings postings on forums calling people out as i wouldn't want to harm new people coming to your business with a negative post, but ill be honest this lack of contact re something as small this is just disrespectful.

you. No response.

23 july 2018

i finally hear something from someone else. After having to post here to get you to answer me. LOL

JAMIE yesterday broke the silence informing me your busy. ill let my contact above do the talking nearly 4 weeks on. not once a simple message to just say you haven't forgot or that your busy or anything. just Nothing.

TODAY ....24 july. 2018 your FIRST response Above at ALL since the 29th july.

When you sit back and look at the above and the time scales involved..... REALLY doesn't look good the facts DONT lie. Even if you couldn't find it, No problem i just needed to know so to be made out like I've been unreasonable on here.... can't work. The above says it ALL. To you its minor to me, customers are seeing their car jacked on a lift with a wood block and i want to portray a certain image if i can which is hard for any startup.. If you couldn't have found it, i would have just purchased one but after a chat with BH lifts, they aren't bloody cheap ( They will only sell a set of 4 for silly money) hence why im trying to find out whats happening with the one missing before i commit. Communication would have solved everything here. End of.

mikes response TODAY after a month...

Ok, so after messaging me telling me I'm "taking the piss" Byron decided to post on my business thread. I take it you've seen my reply. Drop lift back off, and I'll refund you in full. I'll even cover your fuel and van hire charges. I'll then sell it for a non discounted price to someone else. Don't think anyone can say I'm not being fair. To be honest, if you conduct your business in the way you've conducted this purchase, turning up late and then pretty much demanding I drop everything to help you load the item, NOT checking that all was complete, and then moaning and bitching, well I'll say nothing and leave others to draw their own conclusions as to whether or not to deal with you. I certainly never would again.

Mike

and then

Oh, and today I made a point of going in the garage and finding the pad. But seeing as you obviously aren't happy, I've no need to post it as you'll be returning the lift for a full refund. Let me know when to expect you.

Mike

the lies.... the lies.... lol we stood and chatted for ages!! You showed me around and showed me the plans for the new second level in the unit, i used the bathroom twice, my dad used it once also ... i sat and and had lunch in the van for 25 mins after our initial chat to give you time to move the car so i can get on my way with the lift, i then politely after waiting for 45 mins sed mike I've really got to get back to brum can i you help me and my dad get the lift in the van which you did... we left shaking hands and wishing each other well!! but no one can attest to that, its your word Vs mine so...... lets get to the REAL FACTS that we can all see.

so once again the ACTUAL transcript is as above , you've been caught lying on at least one occasion which is evidenced above.

just apologise for ignoring me, and lets both our separate ways.... The lift is fantastic and im very happy with it, i just need the missing pad PLEASE. Your behaviour on this occasion is out of order and your really showing yourself up.

if your not going to send it.... FINE. just need to know. like I've been asking for 4 weeks with no correspondence.

I've been polite, patient and i think the transcript above demonstrates that perfectly tbh.... im more than happy for anyone to see this. Personally i don't see any reason why its had to come to this blow out between us.... We just needed to communication which i HAVE been doing.. for 4 weeks. LOL.

If anyone chooses to not to business with me for anything they see above i accept that decision whole heartedly. This was a business transaction and you can't behave this way in business, it WILL catch up with you as it has done this occasion. We have to Stick to what we are going to say and thats it... Ignoring someone for 4 weeks after repeated contact is WRONG, No one can come for you, if you be straight up and be real. You know and everyone reading this will also know it.

once again... the FACTS don't lie.

Roof motor fail

Post by Anothermidlifecrisis » Sat Sep 22, 2018 9:40 am

Big thumbs up for Mike at Zed Shed.

He sorted my roof motor, £170 all in and really top bloke. It’s relocated in the boot. He really knows these cars.

Long way to drive but worth it.

Mike.

Thanks for your efforts over the last few weeks...I know it wasn't your fault that we couldn't fix the headlight in one visit and would prefer to only have to take the bumper off once (instead of 3 times), but who'd have thought a 2nd ballast would be faulty :headbang:

Now got 2 working headlights, looking like new with their recently polished lenses, and got Mike to spruce the trim up a bit with new wiper arms and BMW roundels on the boot & bonnet.

Thanks

Mike you don't seem to be getting my emails. You have had the money for the back box for 5 weeks now, 4 weeks longer than discussed in our first conversation. I know you have personal issues and/or are very busy but will you please send the box or transfer the money back. Returning the money will only take 5 mins. Many thanks.

Mike, I have not heard from you in over one month and it has been over 6 weeks that I sent you the money. I transfered £375 into your account on the 29 sept 2018 and the last communication I had from you was on the 10th Oct 2018 part of which said "I'm at the unit tomorrow so will get it packed up and courier ordered. Apols once again." I gave you the simple option of just returning the money and forgetting about the backbox. Since 10th Oct I have sent 2 more emails and posted in the forum with no reply.

I will put this message in the forum and send you an email. I will put something in writing in a few days if I get no response.

I hope to hear from you soon.
