Hi Mike
Do you still offer the famous backbox mod and, if so, is it something you can do 'while I wait'?

Cheers
Tom

Mike been waiting for you to come back to me RE the missing item for the lift which you said you'd look for....Very sad considering i put £800 quid in your account purely on trust and the fact your on here without seeing the lift. The lift has been great, but as per my first message one of the lifting pads and holder was missing from the pack. After your first.... ill come back to you once i have a look at home... I've had nothing back.

I've called, I've text numerous times, I've PMd you numerous times and Zilch back.... If you haven't got the item or can't find it just SAY THAT, but to totally go quiet and Ignore me is a poor show. Ive been super patient and we are now at the 3PLUS week mark of no contact and I'm forced to post here publicly when i really didn't want to do that. Really didn't expect this type of B/S from you. very disappointed. If this is how you go on over something as small as this, that just requires communication, how would you handle a large business issue??? If i was little closer id be knocking the door.

Beedub, I was out with Mike last night and between trying to run multiple businesses and his daughter having a life threatening illness It hasn't been a priority. He said he will happily give you your money back for the ramp.

and thats absolutely cool. a simple message.... or answer a phone call or the numerous texts I've sent and i know the score. that isn't too much to ask. How do i know whats happening in some other guys life. thats why we communicate. I'm Sorry to hear about whats going on in mikes life right now ... but theirs no excuse to not just answer back over nearly a month, i would have just left it... i do however need the item missing, its an important part of the ramp.

Just what I've been told but apparently last message he sent to you was that he would look for it next time he goes in the garage, I know Mike can be frustrating sometimes getting back to you (he does it with me...) but he hasn't forgot about it I can assure you.

yeah thats what he said, on the 29th of june. Im been WAY more than patient.
honestly I'm kinda even more perplexed that your actually having to come here and speak on his behalf... just weird as hell. The effort that its took for him to have a conversation with you, it would be ALOT more easier to have just replied to a text or answer a PM or phone call. 5 seconds if that.

don't you think this is abit strange jamie??? anyway..... it is what it is.

i am a new guy round her so my input is impartial to an extent, i haven't put 800 smackerroonies down so i get that completely, but i have met Mike a couple of times, and he is a straight fella, i am waiting for him to get in touch with me about an exhaust mod and wondered why it was quiet. We all deal with problems in our own way, as for popping up to see him .. as an ex brummie i can tell you its a nice drive up there if you stay away from the m6 - a drive in the country with weather like this ? i should cocoa .. :P
If you ever think I'm off my rocker.. Just put me back in it and walk away... It's the kindest thing
My wife says I never listen - or something like that.

As I said to you the last time I spoke to you, and I quote "I'll dig the pad out the next time I go in my garage" since then, I haven't been in the garage as have had other stuff taking up my time. You sending me texts saying I'm "taking the piss" really isn't constructive. I gave you a good deal on the lift, and it was YOU that offered to pay for it before collecting, as you seemed quite concerned that I would sell it to someone else, quite probably for more money. With hindsight, I wish I had have done, but I didn't because I'm a man of my word. More than happy to refund you in full, as was mentioned above.

Oh, and when you came to collect it, turning up late and then pressuring me to stop work and help you load it, YOU had ample opportunity to check the box of lifting pads to ensure they were all there, you didn't. Some may say caveat emptor, however, as I said, I will happily forward the one missing pad of 16 you say is missing WHEN I actually go into my garage. Obviously, the missing pad won't stop you from from being able to use the lift will it?

Mike

PS Road Warrior, apols for not replying. If you look at my thread titled "would anyone be interested in having their backbox modified" all of the videos are on I think, the last but one page.
