replacing navi+dsp carver system with aftermarket kit while retaining steering controls

Post by z4all » Tue Aug 01, 2017 12:14 pm

anyone have a guide on this?

I was thinking it should be simple enough.

the existing system (10 speaker + navi)-strip it out completely other than the 10 speakers

fit an amp, aftermarket headunit, connect the headunit and steering controls with this...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Connects2-CTS ... 1438.l2649

and finally turn the hole in the dash into a shelf.

anyone else done this? anyone see any hole in the plan?
