ShipKiller.

I'm thinking of getting hold of some heated seats, do you have a way of finding if my car already has the wiring? it was built in Dec 2005 and is a Right hand Drive

Thanks

The wiring diagrams will always show the proper connections. The only way to know is for you to check your car against the diagrams.

Go here for more info so you can look and decide. http://www.shipkiller.com/Electrial_Diagrams.html

A lot of BMW Z4's had complete wiring harness's installed (mine did) and the unused wire looms are just coiled and hidden.

Welcome - regardless of diagrams the only real way is to check the loom underneath and see if it has the power cables running to it. They all group into a single large multi part plug.

Remember to disconnect the airbag if you take the seat out else will activate the airbag warning if you tun on the ignition while the seat is dosconnected.

Obviously you'll need the new switch plate with seat buttons too.
