Can anyone offer any help with this. I have a whine coming from the front wheel, the noise is not connected to engine noise\revs, I suspect that I have a worn wheel bearing. Is this a straight forward DIY job or does it involve specialist (BMW) tools! I am about to change rear springs whicl looks straight forward, but wheel bearing could be the job from hell!!
Any advice much appreciated.
PS The car is 2004 Z4 2.5 (In sexy Sapphire black!!)

Re: Front Wheel Bearings\Hub
i have changed one on my 2003 3.0 fairly straight forward job you will need a large socket (48mm i think) for the hub nut tis recommends removing the abs sensor but not really needed as long as you are careful
