Fuel Pump Removal?

Post by Shipkiller » Sat Sep 25, 2010 12:23 am

Has anyone here pulled their fuel pump and filter assembly?

I don't mean you had the dealer do it, I mean have you done it, personally?

Not a mod but troubleshooting a hesitation issue on the Roadster. I had a bad no. 5 coil, replaced that but now it has a hesitation on moderate throttle, starting at any RPM.

Going to do a fuel pressure test on the fuel rail to see if that is the issue.

Have you tried a TB reset? Mine had a terrible hesitation once upon a time and this fixed it!

Pvr, no you do not have to drop the tank.

Ed, I have not thought about a TB reset. Have to research that to see if I can do it or have to take it to the stealer...
