CDV removal/install

Post by zelmen » Thu Sep 23, 2010 5:07 am

I have found an independent that will remove the CDV and replace it with the modified one I recently received from Zeckhausen. I remember reading a post a while back where the procedure was well documented - wrench sizes, hazards to be aware of, etc. I thought this info would be helpful for the independent to refer to as I will be paying him by the hour. I have done quite a bit of searching on the forum and have not been able to find that post. Anyone able to help find this post!

Perfect! Thanks guys. The one AlanJ referenced is the one I was looking for. It probably is something I could do myself but I do not have any jack stands. Can't wait to get the CDV changed out!
