Passenger mirror looking down when in reverse?
Hi guys
Was in a 2006 3 series coupe and when it was put into reverse the passenger mirror looked down so you could see the kerb automatically.
Can this be done on a z?

I loved this feature on my 325Ci. It would be helpful to see around those large "haunches" of the Z.

It does it on the new Z4, not that that's of any use to you other than a useless fact

Why? Not sure if its the same as on the X5, but if you have the mirror adjuster switched to the drivers side the dip function is on. If set to the left side it's off. You can have it either wayGAZA62 wrote:Thats a nice idea for parking but a pain in the ass the rest of the timeantman84 wrote:Hi guys

So you can have this on or off ? only it said in the post when you pop into reverse the nearside mirror would move to look down which would be a pain for any other reversing

Re: Passenger mirror looking down when in reverse?
I'm referring to the X5 where you can most certainly have the function switched on or off from the mirror adjuster on the drivers door. I usually have it off, but just once in a while I want to see the rear wheel and it's really good to do that. As soon as you come out of reverse it goes back to the normal position
I'd love it on the Zed, but it's not an option

Yes, it can be on or off. I use it for parking and have it "on" then. For normal reversing, I leave it off.
