Morning all!
Hi All,
Just thought I'd make my first post as a newbie. Picked up my Z on Saturday and have been driving it all weekend! Just wish the weather had been better!
Pics are from the pistonheads advert, but i'll get some better ones done once i've stopped long enough to clean it!
Details are as follows:
2004 Z4 3.0i SE Roadster in Metallic Grey (not sure of the official colour name ), 19k miles, black oregon leather, heated electric seats, 18" ellipsoids, Carver Hi-fi, cruise control, automatic lights and wipers, power-fold mirrors, PDC, wind deflector cup holders etc etc
Really pleased with it so far, especially all the options, with more thrills to come no doubt - had a TT Roadster 225bhp before this which I thought was quick, but f**k me, the Z goes well! No turbo lag for me any more!!!
Cheers guys!
Corf

Re: Morning all!
Thanks for all the welcomes guys!
Z4kma - yeah, I'm really impressed with the Carver system - I had the full Bose system in the TT which was amazing and if anything this is even better - especially at high speeds with the roof down - shame it didn't stop my head from freezing on saturday though! Oh, and I live in sunny Swindon - what about you?

Re: Morning all!
Solihull eh- I used to llive up that way - went to Aston Uni for 4 years, then I worked for MG Rover for a couple of years after that at Longbridge as a web designer doing all their Eurpean websites - sadly it didn't help keep them afloat thoughZ4kma wrote:I'm in Solihull ... about to put my hardtop back on for the Winter ... so no cold head ... and maybe the hi-fi will sound better?!?!?!thecorf1 wrote: Oh, and I live in sunny Swindon - what about you?

I had a few MGFs and TFs while I was there and the hard top is really great for the winter - you probably will see (well hear) and improvement in the sound.

Hi, yeah the town centre has certainly changed alot ... I actually live in Dorridge ... so it's the posh end of Solihull - separated from the rabble by the M42!

Was dragged up on the other side of town - Olton. Left about 14 years ago - touchwood court wasnt even started back then. Guess that makes me quite old
