New Z4M Coupe owner
Hi everyone, just thought I should check in since I finally got round to buying a Z4 M Coupe.
Been looking on and off for a while, also keeping an eye out for other things, a Cayman was another possibility. Glad I've ended up with this though, it basically replaced a E39 M5 that I sold last year, so good to keep it M I suppose .
Details of the car are, 57 plate, 32.5K miles, has the carbon dash, AC Schnitzer exhaust and strut brace, shortened gear lever. The seller did not do many miles but still sent it to BMW dealer every year for an oil change etc. I'm very happy with it.
I did an online search and found a thread from a previous owner on this forum, so I might try to give him a shout.

Just picked it up last Friday and I'm now away from home for a couple of weeks, I'll try to get some new photos when I get back. Just have one from the previous owner for now.

Thanks for the kind words, just found the previous owner on here also, I guess it's quite a small world with these cars.
It was a very long day, flying down to buy, then driving the approx 600 miles home again, but very much worth it.
A big thank you to the seller for the easy transaction.

I'm in Aberdeen, but have ended up buying from the London area quite often, this one was to the South East in Maidstone.Mr Tidy wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 8:20 pmWow, that's some drive home!Jellyfishfields wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 1:03 am It was a very long day, flying down to buy, then driving the approx 600 miles home again, but very much worth it.

I normally really enjoy the drive home, but this time less so. Too many roadworks, a lot of traffic, more trucks than I've ever seen before at night.
A lot of the motorways were reduced from 4 lanes to 1, at one point it was all stop for a while, engines off and a lot of people getting out of their cars.
On top of that, the flight to London was later than was ideal, so I never left Maidstone long after I normally would.
Still, at least the car was great.

Shame things didn't go to plan, but hopefully once you got North of the border things improved!
I collected my MC from Rutland, just 165 miles from home, but it was a cold drizzly December day and the A1(M) was closed for 15/20 minutes due to an accident which meant I got to the M25 in the rush-hour.
Still I did discover that MPSS tyres don't work too well on cold drizzly days.

Don't know what's up with all the roadworks, maybe catching up after covid.

Beautiful mate, wish I could’ve afforded the M myself.
