Thank you for the welcome folk and thanks JK. I didn't know the name of the colour, as I haven't got the V5 yet. I have spent the day making it 'mine,' cleaning inside and out and a coat of polish. The colour made talking my wife into the deal a little easier - she loves it. You can even see her in the picture, taking pics to send to her friends.

I had an MG Midget when I was young and loved it, but had to sell it to put double glazing in our house. After that, it was sensible cars - the kind which will carry a pushchair and kids. Things lightened up when children grew up and I have driven an Audi cab for the past six years - still ferrying the family around at times (they had moved out mostly), but wanted some fun in my motoring. But now the kids (and grandkid) don't need me anymore, I thought it was time. I have drooled over the Z4 for years and now I have one:~). I bet they suddenly want me again now:~)

Welcome to the forum, that’s a good looker. The V5 might not help you with colour, mine just says “blue”. There should be a sticker under the bonnet just by the drivers side bonnet strut which tells you the colour among other things. It looks stratus grey to me, but sometimes the light plays tricks.

Hello and welcome to the forum, great looking car - now about the big wallet, I think you need a smaller one as you will have nothing left in it anyway once you start spending after the advice on here

I'll have a look today - it gives me an excuse to drool over the car a bit longer and pretend I'm doing something constructive :D

Ole Gits - have no fear, I won't be customizing it in any way. I will have to buy it a car cover though, as it will be living outdoors.
