Hi all. New to the forum and Z4 ownership. Picked up a 2010 2.5 a few weeks ago, as I wanted to see if I could justify a convertible in Central Scotland. So far, absolutely loving it. :D

Hi and welcome aboard!

The Scottish members organise quite a few meets and drives. If you are interested check the Meets/Events section of the forum.

Your car looks great.

Welcome as others have said quite a few meets and runs are organised north of the border…there is an active FB set of pages for Z4 owners in Scotland..most people are on both groups but a lot of the Scottish group tend to be active primarily on the Scottish Z4 owners group.

People tend to organise pop up meets at short notice on the FB pages.

Planned meets are cross posted between the two groups..so hopefully you can see all meets either here or on the Z4 Scotland FB pages.

Hopefully you’ll find some meets that float your boat.

Scotland of course is the pre-eminent place to own a Zed..the best roads..less traffic..great scenery..just a bit of rain and a few midges (occasionally)

Welcome… you’ll need a 2nd set of winters/cross climates if not garaged over Xmas, otherwise perfect car for touring 👍

Hello and welcome, lovely colour combo

You’re definitely in an ideal location for a convertible, West/Centre/East just head up the way and you’ve got some fantastic roads to choose from. Of course I’m biased and would say the West coast is best

You liking hanging out on muscle beach isn’t something that you need to share with the group :camera:

Welcome aboard. That's a nice looking example you have there.
Was it already debadged when you got it?
Heaters in these cars always seem very good, so provided you have heated seats you should be able to go topless all year round with a decent hat.
I'm a fair bit south of you but there's something faintly amusing about driving with the roof down and the frost warning bonging at you. :D
