You've bought my previous 2008 3.0si Sport. I first had a 2.0i Sport and traded it in against this 3.0si which was a BMW dealer purchase. Later I bought a forum member's Z4MR.
My wife and I did many miles in the 3.0si. The roof was replaced under warranty (due to one of the heating wires not operating on the heated rear window!) and the roof motor was relocated thanks to another member, Mike, who arranged for his mechanic to relocate lots of members motors for a very reasonable £80 at the time. It was Mike that supplied and fitted the cover in the boot. Me Mike and Craig drove our Z4s all over the North East of England and I posted lots about our mid week runs out.
We attended lots of Nationals and had many fabulous trips to Scotland. Competing the NC500 more than once with forum members and also trips to Skye. We arranged runs based in Newcastle and led many successful runs in the 3.0si including our Castles and Coast runs in Northumberland (do a search). We bought it with the reg on it now but we ran it with our reg of V81 FCU. Fabulously smooth and capable I kept it for months even after we had bought the M as we loved it so much and couldn't decide which to keep. Eventually I sold it to another forum member - Mr Wilks!
I'd be very happy to run that Zed now, I loved it and have many Happy memories associated with it.
I hope you have as much fun with it as we did.
All the best, Paul
Hi Paul,

Such a small world! Nice to hear others on the forum have owned and looked after the car.

Being based near Stirling myself, it now calls Scotland home for a little while longer. but It'll be dotting around Northumberland at some point too as my parents stay in the Scottish Borders. Having spent many weekends as a child at Bamburgh beach/castle, I'll be sure to check out the castles and coasts stuff!

The NC500 is tremendous and would recommend it to anyone thinking of doing it! Definitely tempted to do it in this as I don't think the Toyota Yaris I did it in last time really cut the mustard for driving enjoyment

Can't wait for the summer so I can really enjoy top down motoring 8)
Hello and welcome, another Scottish member

Lovely looking Zed :driving:

How nice to see that the car is back and being cherished. Stratus grey is such a lovely colour and suits the Z4 shape so well.
    Hope you enjoy it!
