G29 guys, I have a question.

I have a deposit down on a M40i which will be my first BMW. Does the car require a SIM card for full external features to be enabled or is there an embedded SIM in the car already? I have owned Audi's before and their system required you to insert your own card but can't find any details about the BMW system.

All help appreciated.

Whether there is one embedded or not, I’m not sure but for all the Connected Drive features, it all works over the air.
You dont have to insert a SIM card or anything like that.
