Picked up my Z4 a few days ago, just in time for lockdown!
Here’s what’s been done;
It has upgraded calipers and discs, - 330
Adjustable coil overs - had set at Normal height
OEM wind deflector,
New Ccv and hoses
New spark plugs
New valve cover gaskets
New intake boot
New window cable and motor
New MAF
Front wishbone including Bush's
18unch m6 rep alloys
Has a bit of vibration above 65 through the steering wheel if any tips? The front tyres don’t match (one p zero and one budget so guess that must be it?)
Thanks

Hi and welcome.
Your car looks fantastic, and has had some useful modifications done but from your photos it looks like the coil-overs have dropped the ride height a fair bit!
I'd definitely start off with matching tyres before trying anything else for the steering vibration.

Thank you, guess I don’t have to much to compare it with! Doesn’t seem too low, still very useable!
I’ll try matching tyres first, hopefully nothing to serious.
Anything to watch out for on the 2.2?

I was just going by there not looking like much of a gap between the top of the tyres and the arches. My H & R coil-overs on their highest setting are still 20mm lower than standard, but other makes are probably different.
I don't think there are any particular issues with the M54 engine - it's the same one in 2.2i, 2.5i and 3.0i models, just in different sizes.
If it hasn't been done already you might want to think about getting the roof motor relocated into the boot to stop it getting submersed in water from the roof drains. Depending where you are there are a few forum members who can do it for sensible money.

Thank you, I’m in Cornwall if anyone knows of any specialists near by would be good to know!
Hoping to have the motor relocated soon. The previous owner removed prt of the drain so water can flow more freely but still leaves me worried!

Not too close but the nearest to you for your roof motor will be "Number5", who is in the Bristol area.
