Theres alot of love for the wheels when I saw the aux at first it just looked like a nut holding the plastic cover in place Glad I can listen to my music nowMr Tidy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 9:16 pm Hi and welcome - your car looks great, and I love those wheels.
Where you found the Aux port above the ashtray is where BMW put them! My last 3.0Si was slightly to early to have one as standard, but I eventually discovered someone had retro-fitted one in the glovebox

All down to personal choice. I’m sure you’d not have much trouble shifting the current ones on here give numerous positive comments about them and this is also a great place to pick a replacement set up hopefully at no/little additional cost.Simon19879 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 11:38 pmNot really growing on me yet. Think BMW 19's might be the way forward for meArgyll Andy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 6:33 pmGlad you like it, the wheels grown on you any? I think they look even nicer now it’s photographed outsideSimon19879 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 12:21 am Back again, little update...
Well I've had my Audi A3 2.0 Tdi Sport 08 with DPF Delete for circum 10 Years (Still have it..My work horse), and I've just purchased myself a 2006 Z4 2.5 Si M-sport with cream leathers and, I have to say I had forgotten how much I missed driving a petrol car :Di
The sound from this thing is a real smile maker, picked it up and went out and about giving it a blip here and there and did 39 miles and it used just under an 1/8th of a tank. Which I am more than happy with as I only drive 4 or 5 miles a day for work and picking up the daughter from primary school. Probably abit more giddy on the throttle than I will be in a few weeks.
Safe to say that I have not regretted buying it at all, actually quite the opposite its one of my best ideas, I did only plan on doing a bit of a tyre kicking session at a local garage but saw this and after a test drive I put a deposit down
I'll upload my own photos of the car tomorrow after my night shift.
What sort of mods/benefits are done to these engines/Cars??
Just purchased a new Aux installation, Spotify is a must.
I like original wheels too, I’ve got BMW 296’s and really like them and I just bought a new set of Michelin PS4S’s that are waiting to go on them when I get time.

I'll see how I feel next month, it's either powder coating these or having a look for some different ones. Some days I like the current rims and other I just think stock.
I bet it looks nice with them on. Luckily these 4 have all been changed for the MOT

Definitely not - main dealers will just fit a new roof motor for silly money in the same water-prone location.
There are 4 forum members I can think of who will relocate the motor into the boot out of harm's way for sensible money. Roughly speaking they are in the SW, SE, NW and NE of England, so it just depends where you are!
Coupes because stunning!

You can fit the gaptec roof module yourself very easily, bmw won’t mod the roof operation themselvesSimon19879 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 17, 2020 12:11 amSorry my bad, by the roof mod I was talking about the roof opening off the key.Mr Tidy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 11:57 pm Definitely not - main dealers will just fit a new roof motor for silly money in the same water-prone location.
