Hi all
I bought my first z4 (2.0i) back in September last year. Up until then I didn't really have much interest in cars... Now I've been driving it for a while, I absolutely adore it. I love how it drives, the sound, the look, everything and want to learn as much as possible.
Visited a few sites mooching around and stumbled across this forum where everyone seems nice, helpful and like me, love their Z4's.
Having looked at some of the beautiful z4's people have on here, there seem to be loads of modifications that can be done to improve the car and I'm looking forward to spending time on here with you all.
So I guess I'd just like to say hi, and ask if anyone has any hints or tips on what I can/should do to my Z4 to improve it, then that would be much appreciated.
Photo attached on the day I collected it

Hi and welcome - I love the red seats.
From what I have read a remap seems pretty popular! And swapping the run-flat tyres for non run-flats.

Blimey - Smartbear the remap looks tasty. How much should I be paying for something like that, and is it safe?
I bought the car 5 years old with 15K on the clock. I plan on keeping this car for a few years, I like it so much.

Yeah, it’s safe as that’s only a little higher than the 28i version which has an identical engine. There’s a few different companies offering remaps so it’s best to shop around, it’s usually best to go with a company that’s well known & been used before by others
