No, I agonised over DIY or not. The biggest issue for me was to find a good donor DME module. So in the end, and being probably being too eager to get in started, I opted to take it to a specialist. Went to BW Chiptune in Hayes Middlesex. Good service and very accomodating. Still cost me £690 all in.

No. My big concern was finding a decent DME module and prices seemed all over the place. So got a unit from BW Chiptune in Hayes Middlesex. They programmed and got the car started again. Module is warrantied as well. Cost £690 all in parts & labour. Very good service but is still an unexpected cost. Anyway now the fun starts getting everything else fixed :D
