Hi,
I just bought my first, beautiful, ruby black z4 coupe and am wondering if there is a specialist trader for spare parts. I want to buy a few trivial bits and bobs like mats and an interior door handle, maybe a new door card for one side, and in the long term wouldnt mind knowing a good website to check for other bits as needed. Is there a specifically z4 spares dealer?
Thanks!
Seania

Hi and welcome to the forum - and to the exclusive Coupe owners club!

My 1st Coupe was Ruby Black so I'll wish you luck keeping it clean. But with the sun shining like it is just now hopefully you'll get to see the effect of the "Ruby" part of the colour at it's best.

I think there may be a breaker in the North West who tends to have Z4s, but sadly I don't have any details.

But you'd be more than welcome to share a photo or two of your beautiful Coupe with us!

As u can probably now guess, posting a wanted add on here will normally have people offering you things or making you aware of things on eBay.

Look forward to the photos

Thats nice to know Jembo, maybe thats how i should approach it.

Hi srhutch, I live in Devon, near Exeter. Getting used to my new width and ground clearance on seriously potholed narrow lanes.

I havent taken a photo yet! But i will soon. Er, and then try and work out how to post it!

Yes, mr Tidy, I think it will be like a white horse - only clean for five minutes. I may be too busy driving to polish it much.

I thought there might be a z4 garage who had set up a parts website, i guess they are a bit niche.

That is very kind Mr Wilks! Sadly, sods law, its the drivers side that looks tatty, and the door handle is very worn (you know, the silver bit). I am going to try renovating the leather and see if that helps. (No, not the handle, the door....) I think the previous owner was generally alone in the car as all the wear is drivers side.

Crikey you have had a lot of z4’s! I should have asked here what to look for when i bought one. I sort of went for one owner, fsh, no nasty noises and crossed fingers. Will take it to the garage next week and see what they think of it. Still crossing my fingers its a good one. I hate buying cars, it always feels like such a gamble.

Happy to find this forum though :D

I have a plastic centre console that nobody wants for free - I really don’t want to throw it in the recycling bin but it’ll go there on one of the wife’s clearouts when I’m away
