i'll be looking for a 3.0i convertible for about £6.5k...
around the 2004, 2006 mark, don't know the model code for one of these though

I have had a Mr2 for several years now and as good as they are, i've always felt it was a little lacking overall...
it hit me at the weekend to look at the z4 and that's why i'm here...
I'm in solihull, west midlands.

Now; i have just found one for sale near me and it seems quite nice but i have no idea about the SMG gearbox. i wanted a manual, but this one may be worth looking at... are there 3 gearboxes to choose from? manual, auto and SMG?

Yes, they came with manual, automatic or SMG - which is actually an automated manual box, so you get paddles! :thumbsup:
