Hello fron Jasono
Hello, just recently joined up.
we have just got a 2005 2.2 black 130thou , 18" wheel. I am working my way through the forum to gain knowledge to deal with some of the faults.
thank you . I have just put new bonnet release cables on today using info form here , the old one was stretched and bodged up.
other faults to sort, : oil leak maybe rocker gasket,
rubber manifold boot thing, just found it had ben taped up where it has split.
reverse lights fitted but realise that one long beep when I put into reverse then nothing, I can't hear any of them clicking so maybe a fuse or control unit?
only one key and fob and just been told over £160 from bmw for one
I will put a wanted advert for odds and ends I have found missing. thanks, Jason

Hello fron Jasono
Hi and welcome to the forum.
I've read some positive reviews for "bmkeys" in E. London, but it depends where you are. There is a guy in Warrington who has disappeared from the forum, but a couple of years ago he cut and coded a flip-style key for me for £80. If that might be useful make one more post then PM me for details - you need to have 3 posts to use the PM facility.
Did anyone mention photos yet?

Hello fron Jasono
yesterday manage 300 miles West Sussex to Lancashire , good weather to try it out plenty of rain .
I am not sure what the 18" wheels are, not taken them off to check, any idea of the style please?
alos has these headlights sonar? clear chrome, not working correctly , one of the daytime running light? the banana one not working . I think needs to be checked to see what has happened, also looks like they can be halo type but that doesn't work
anyone have a wiring parts diagram? thank you

Hello fron Jasono
Thanks paddy.
Mr Tidy , thanks for the suggestions I have sorted a flip key with the Z'er in warrington.
The car came with one key. I should tell you-
Last week I did have fun. I was in the car messing with the glovebox and emptied my pocket onto the passenger seat
so that I could crawl around the car. I found the glovebox fault it was missing 2 large pins 51458397589 for some reason?
So was dropping down when you open it,
I sat down on the seat , got out the car and let the passenger door close, they are heavy eh and so it closed firmly .
AND THEN THE CAR LOCKED ! windows and boot were all closed
I had a great fishing time with my brother we used an old wire coat hanger and made a hook, eventually got the key fob up near the window. then used wood strips between the glass and rubber seal , finally pressing down on the key fob to open the central locking. oh did we laugh.
