Morning All!

1st post on here as a newbie and recent buyer of an E85 2003 Z4 2.5 SE.

Was wondering the best mods for the car with reference the engine as I’m happy with the way it looks and has had a recent rear box delete (sounds great!)
Please advise on oil plugs and wether an induction air kit would benefit or a panel filter?
Thanks in anticipation Gents & Ladies.

Welcome along! I have a panel fitted and it gives slightly more induction noise v the oem filter. If your after anything more than a slight increase you’ll want an induction kit such as the Afe kit.

Does the 2.5 have the intake sound resonator like the 3.0 cars?

Hi and welcome - bonus points for some great photos in your 1st post too.

I don't think the 2.5 has the sound resonator, so maybe a retro-fit of one might help.

Or for exhaust noise a modified back-box or back-box delete ought to work!
Coupes because stunning!

Thanks to all for the comments on the pics and my new Zed😎
I’m not looking to change the looks or stance of the car as I think it’s looks awesome as is but would like a little more oomph although it’s no slouch!
Mr Tidy it has the back box delete and sounds amazing, really impressed with the burble and how it resonates in tunnels. 🤓🤓🤓
The things I’d like advice on is air in as in an induction kit and recommendations for plugs, oil and anything you other Zedders can advise.

Thanks in anticipation. 👍🏼

buzyg the pass is Kirkstone near the Lake District...lovely drive although weather wasn’t my friend that day. 🙁🌧
