Evening all,

After a couple of weeks searching, I picked up my E86 from Manchester on Tuesday.

I’ve a few changes planned from reading through the forum, my drive home to Glasgow on Tuesday and short blast to Balmaha today. It’s booked into Kenneth Brown Motor Engineers for a once over and get the alignment done I’ll know more once he’s had a look at it. I need to get a DAB radio sorted out and blue tooth connectivity for my phone, any suggestions? Stubby aerial has been ordered as well as a new gear knob.

Hopefully get it out to a few meet ups and a track day or two at Knockhill :driving:

Welcome to a great forum. You’ll love your car at the track, although I now live in NZ I’ve driven a few cars round Knockhill, it’s a great circuit, there is a nice blind apex at the top of the esses half way round.
I’ve tracked my E85 over here and it performed well. Did upgrade the brake system though, slotted rotors, higher temp pads and fluid, didn’t let me down. Enjoy

Picture has now been added, was trying to be to fancy and link it from my one drive but it wouldn’t show, so have attached it directly.

Thanks everyone :)

Welcome. Lovely looking car. You've already alienated half the forum by mentioning stubby :fuelfire: :fuelfire: :fuelfire:     (I've got one)

Did realise aerials were such a contentious subject,

There will be changes before it’s on track, it’s currently on Primewell tyres, who I had to google as I’d never heard of them. They’ll be going and some better quality rubber put on. I might change wheels, but waiting to see what the garage comeback with before making any plans

Welcome !
The whippy aerial helps stabilise the car at high speeds.
