Ok I'm sure it's just me... is it just me or is the footrest too big? I keep catching the side of my foot when depressing the clutch.
Has anyone else had the same problem and importantly done anything about it... Coming from an Elise where you rested your foot on the carpet I feel spoilt having a foot rest but I'm not sure I can put up with it long term, so might need "shaving"

cant say its a problem I've encountered... but standard response here is how big are your feet, and what shoes are you wearing?

I didnt find this an issue. The problem I had was not being able to stretch my left leg on a longer journey. I found the rest position a little wearing around 100 miles or so. When I tried to stretch my leg out behind the clutch pedal there is no depth in the footwell. Minor issue really.

It is all a bit tight there. I only drive the Zed wearing driving shoes, whereas I happily drive the Discovery and Mini in walking boots.

well only a size 8 and I'm wearing boots but I've had the same issue in trainers.
I might have a look and see how removable it is... or just put up with it

Size 8. Perfect for an Elise . I find the Zed spot on. Could not drive an Elise for the love of trying or I would have bought one 17 years ago. 6ft 4. Size 13 FF shoes. I have a specific tight fitting pair of training shoes for driving the Zed
