Your safe for while then. He plans to explore the South island for a few months. Then back over to Wellington, in late Feb and find some work to help pay for the rest of his stay.

great, I had a house up in Upper Hutt for a while back in the 90s. I hope they have barriers now on the Remutaka's, could be a bit daunting at night! Enjoy the Z on those roads nearly as good as Scotland

Cheers, it's the motor bikes you have to be careful of leaning over the centre line. Some extra passing lanes now. I have to admit that some of the roads in Scotland are hard to beat Grrr

Thanks, will see where enzed4 is
Here I am :P
I'm way down south (but not quite south enough to start rolling my 'rrrs') in Christchurch.
Great looking Zed you have there, Sir.
buzyg wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 8:36 pm Welcome to the forum from Cornwall. Great looking Z4. I would normally turn to my son for help with technology, but not driving tips. In timely fashion he landed in Blenheim on the flight from Wellington at 17:53 last evening, your time.

You have officially been warned. :D
Cheers for the warning  . Looks like I'll be safe, as my car's off the road for the next week while the suspension gets refurb'd.

Hi enzed4
Great roads in your neck of the woods, shame you are so far away. Be great to have a Z4 enthusiast close by. I don’t think people realise how great the cars are.

After 5 years with my E85, I completely agree - even after experiencing some of the E85 'gotchas' (soft top motor replaced due to 'swimming pool' housing, ABS/DSC pump etc).
I'm hoping to get as much fun from the E89.
