nice trade up - skipped a generation! must feel completely different compared to the Z3 - i had a 2.2i and loved it. Felt so raw - albeit a bit primitive - one thing i don't miss is that plastic rear window - must have tried every compound under the sun and it was still cloudier than a dirty pint of cider!

What engine did you go for/have previously?

Hi, What 2.0 have you got? There’s an 18i/20i & 28i all with the same 2.0 engine

It depends on where you go, it seems to vary between £400-£500 unless you flash it yourself (mhd?)
You May get it cheaper without the dyno runs before/after, but that takes away some of the fun of finding out how much your car’s been improved :P

We had a z3 previously as well & there are similarities-particularly the clamshell design bonnet which does away with traditional style front wings. :?

Your right, there are similarities. It looks like they have taken quite a few design ques from the previous z3 gen like the side indicator position mimicking the position of the gills. and the boot is more akin to the z3 boot than the e85 boot. I hope I enjoy looking at this one as much as I enjoyed looking at the z3.

That colour really seems to suit the E89 - lovely!
