I recently thought about buying a new car, my z4 has 94000 + miles and needs a little work.
I went and test drove a bunch of cars like Corvette, Camaro etc.
My z4 is more fun to drive it just rocks in comparison!
My issues with my car currently are:
1) Radio buttons don't work, only steering column controls work, I use a little Bluetooth to FM unit and problem solved.
2) Steering was pulling hard to the left and brake light on, I disconnect the battery and after reconnecting it would stop pulling, after a month of that the problem went away though the brake warning lights still on.
3) Leak in the brake system somewhere.
4) I got larger wheels and tires and that looks awesome. I had it repainted and the guy recommended I lower it, the new tires ripped out holes in the inner wheel wells!
5) being lowered it bottoms out to easily when driving it hard, need some changes in there. I have all new struts and all bushings and such replaced.
6) Recall needs to be addressed (engine plugs can start a fire?)
I am going to fix all this stuff in hopes it will run as great as it always has, trannie blew early in its life and the motor for the top needed replacement other than that it has been great.
I may do some engine upgrades but don't want to stress my trannie.
