Hello everyone

I am planning on buying a Z4 before the end of the year. I’m after the 3.0i or 3.0si. After something around 2006-07.
Best advice is from people who have one.
Thanks in advance
Keith

I can recommend the 3.0si facelift E85 2006 - 2008.
The N52 265bhp engine is the same in the roadster and coupe - I went for the roadster :driving:

What’s your budget as they can differ greatly in price? And are their any must have toys / colours / alloys?

Hi and welcome - 3.0 roadster good choice

Try and hold out for one with electric; heated Msport seats - with the furnace like heater they turn the roadster into an all year drop top which is fantastic when the days are crisp and cold - even below zero!

They are expensive (and sort after) to fit as a mod so try and buy a car where they were an option.

Hi and welcome.

There was a facelift in early 2006 when the 3.0Si replaced the 3.0i. The Si had a different engine with a bit more power, which is always handy. :)

GLWTS. And don't forget to post some photos once you've found one!

For a car of this age all the 6 pots are turning out to be very reliable with just a few things to bear in mind.

The facelift will save u tons in mods, though I liked the pre’s rear lights & dual headlights for dip & main beam
