My home town. But it was in Westmorland in those days. I still have fond memories of the town and the local area.

There certainly are. My trips round the Lakes were originally in my father’s 1936 Morris 8 Tourer and then in my own Morris Minor Mk ll. 30 BHP, 0 - 60 in 52 seconds and 39 MPG. It made for interesting driving round some of the steeper passes. A bit different to the one below.

That looks like a steep pass to me.
