Newbie saying hi

Post by Tony007 » Sat Jul 28, 2018 9:21 pm

Just saying Hi as a newbie. I Bought my Z4 just over a year ago. It is a 2005 3.0 Automatic. I bought it as a second fun car but I enjoy driving it more than my main car. I just love being behind the wheel. No problems so far but wanted to join the forum just in case. Are there any Z4 clubs in Norfolk UK?

Welcome Tony - lovely looking E85.

I can't help with owners local to you, but I'm sure there are others in E. Anglia - why not check the Meets/Events section from time to time?

Thanks for the welcome buzyg, Mr Tidy and Firebobby, yep I like the black. Not sure if automatics are frowned on though? Maybe not as popular as the manuals. The weather has been so good over the last few weeks so have been out in it nearly every day. Went down to the Silverstone Classic last weekend, was a great experience.

Nothing wrong with an auto if that is what you chose.

Just ask firebobby (he can't seem to work 3 pedals either)!

The weather has certainly been great for a Roadster, and you certainly seem to have been enjoying yours!

Just keep it up. :driving:

Welcome!

There are a few Naarfolk folk on here! I'm in Norwich, Crazy Harry is in Dereham and Jingle is Attleborough. Thats the only ones I know of. Z4s are a rare sight in Norfolk! Oh and there is always a black Alpina parked outside the Fat Cat on Yarmouth Road, Norwich but I don't think he/she is on here.

Where are you based?

Hi and welcome - you're upping the Zed count in Norfolk but you still don't see that many about. I've spotted Buckley06 in Breckland - think hes from the Suffolk/Thetford end.

I'll keep a look out for you (which end of the county are you?) - me blue 3.0 roadster top mostly down

Thanks for all the welcome folks. I am up in N Norfolk near Holt, I see a few in this area, but don't know any of the owners.
