Well, I feel I can now call myself an official
Member of the forum as after much searching test driving and haggling I have found and bought my Zed :D
2008, 2.0 sport, 45000 miles, M sport seats and steering wheel and gorgeous colour (I think)
1st impressions, it's hard as fook, lousy vision with the roof up, wife hates it......I love it
All joking aside, run flats suck, it tracks like a berstard and the ride is so harsh on crappy Sussex roads. Having researched the forum seems like the tyres are more than likely the culprit, so time to save for a change up. So do you have to do all 4 at the same time, I've no experience with performance car tyres having been a bike man?
Needs a new front bumper clip as the dealer managed to break one fitting a new headlight for me (original was condensating)πŸ™„, but I let him off as it saved me having to pay for it πŸ˜‰
I was originally hoping to get the 2.5, just couldn't find one in the right condition at my price point, but actually, the 2.0 is surprisingly good, and good enough for my first foray into ’sports’ cars. So all in all, I'm a happy manπŸ‘πŸ»

Thanks, yeah love the blue. Seats are 2 tone. Here's an interior pic, does anyone know the name of the light grey leather, the drivers bolster has the obligatory wear, I've found a company that sell colouring kits matches to BMW just need to known what to order

No, I think Marlon is saying if you can afford the one off outlay, then do it - as long as you ensure you change one axle at a time you will be fine

Nice ride  Enjoy the sun and don't forget the sunscreen, lots of sunscreen

I think changing the axles is a bit much, I'd just do the tires for the time being :tumbleweed:

Hi and welcome. What a stunning looking Zed. That colour is superb and I love the interior too. You mussed be very pleased.

A cheeky question, but I don't suppose the dealer let you take the condensed headlight away with you did he? I'm trying to get hold of one or a pair and would happily buy it off you if you happened to have it. Condensation not a concern.
