Hi,

I can’t unpair the existing phones. Yes I have the button in the armrest. Apparently the roadster needs to be done by dealer

If the maximum amount of phones (3 or 6,I can't remember),have been paired, they need to be unpaired before anymore can then be paired.
I have had to do this when getting a new mobile. Can't remember the procedure, but it's in the wee phone hand booklet in owners pack.
You can do it yourself, without a dealer. I did.
Hope this helps.
Love the car,and welcome to the forum

The manual tells you how to unpair the existing phones. It will remove all, up to the maxim7m 5 allowed, which could be why you can’t pair your phone.

I have the instructions somewhere if you haven’t got a manual.

morning all,

I have tried holding the button down then turning on the ignition to no avail. I don’t have a manual, need to get one!

Instructions for pairng/unpairing phones

Ignition position 0,
Press pairing button for 3 Sec
Ignition position 1
Release pairing button after 3 seconds
press and hold pairing button again for 10 seconds to delete all pairings

You'll also need the code for the Bluetooth. If you haven't got it you will need to lift the carpet in the boot on the firewall to get the code of the Bluetooth module.

Thanks for this. I have tried that sequence. It doesn’t work. I did read somewhere that you can’t delete phones on the roadster.

I have the m supplement just not the main book. Does anyone have a 56 plated z4. Does manual have a German plate car on front?

Update on phone. Mike at Zed Shed removed the phones. I still haven’t managed to pair my I phone however.

Newbie here too from Kent.

This is my 3rd E85 so I'm a Repeat Offender, you see!

I just never learn. Started with an '06 2.5si Which you can see here.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2-kaksN6i4

I have a 2.0 DD and have now got into a Z4M. Totally different beast. i have lusted after one for ages despite having only ever seen one in the flesh/metal on the A2. I got lucky to find the same exact one about 6 months later - Imola Red and it is gorgeous, ladies and gentlemen! I thought the 2.5 was a great car and there is just nothing that looks like these cars.

Here's mine....
