Phoenix yellow Z4
Hello all, just signed up but been lurking for a while.
Picked this little beauty up last month. It’s a 2007 2.0i Sport in the brilliant (but marmite) Phoenix Yellow. Originally was looking for a decent 3.0si model in a colour that wasn’t silver or grey, but after almost a year of searching locally, none really fit the bill for me, or was out of my price range. That is until this came up for sale just down the road from me, and as soon as I seen it I just had to have it. So far the lack of an extra 2 cylinders isn’t bothering me at all, and I can always upgrade down the line if it does, but for now I’m having too good of a time driving it to care!
I’ll let the pics do the talking though.
PS: the big M logo on the back is now gone

The black wheels certainly suit the colour and the mesh grill looks good. Love the shots at the boat yard even though a Subaru is in the way of one shot.

Nice car mate, I recognise the back drop. Hopefully our summer isn't over and you get to enjoy the sun with the roof down.

Nice looking Z and a special colour. I thought I was the only one with the mesh grilles, although I’ve removed the sticker on the lower grille and replaced the fog lights with sprayed covers:
**edit** just noticed the previous owner has put the mesh over the existing pieces. I spent ages removing the slats and lower lip which was a right pita.

A few places local to me in Greenock and surrounding areas the Z definitely suits shots by water and boats.
Ah you’re local then? Good to know there’s fellow enthusiasts nearby We’ve definitely had the weather for it the past few weeks, looks like I bought it at the right timeStuCracker wrote: ↑Tue Jun 19, 2018 6:12 pm Nice car mate, I recognise the back drop. Yours looks really good with the covers over them! I’ve been toying with the idea of removing the logo as well but it doesn’t look too offensive or anything for now. The mesh grill does set it off and contrasts nicely with the yellow though!
Cheers for the warm welcome guys!
