Z4m coupe buyer... NEWBIE

Hi guys newbie here.... l have an old merc 1995 w124. Cabrio my price and joy... Im looking for a 2Nd future classic to rotate and enjoy.. After much research Fiat 20v turbo.. Alfa 147gta.. Various Amg mercs, bmws ive made the decision.. I wanted a Z3m coupe but a little out of reach now so I focused on the Z4m coupe and like it alot.
Any help info etc etc etc im in Essex uk

Welcome to the forum. It is always a guessing game with which car is going to be a future classic. Usually when you 'buy in to a future classic' the prices have already started to rise. This has already happened for the Z3 M (as you have found out) and the Z4 M is following suit. The 3.0i Z4 E86 coupe is in my opinion following suit and would be a good investment for a low mileage late model (2008-2009), but the forum is not just about 'garage queens' that are better investments than an ISA, it's about having a car that you love to drive and have fun with. There are lots of experienced people on the forum with a huge range of knowledge and ideas that will make you love your Z4 when you get one. Not everyone will agree with what anyone else says, but that's what you want. If everyone agreed, you would only need one person. Enjoy your search and when it comes, enjoy the car. The 3.0 BMW Z4 Coupe 2006-early2009 is one of the finest cars ever produced. If I don't get people arguing with that last comment, the forum isn't worth joining.

But now you've said you are looking for a Z4MC you can ignore what I said about the 2.2i, 2.5i and 3.0i options!

Nothing like jumping in at the deep end - good luck finding the right one.

FWIW you may have to be patient, because IIRC less than 1,000 M Coupes came to the UK!
