Good morning all,

I am a new owner of a lovely 2004 e85 Z4, super happy with this purchase the car is spotless with only 39k on clock and I wanted to get registered with an owners club asap for advice and conversations on how to best look after my new pride n' joy.

I would also like to speak about some sensible modifications, nothing daft I'm 36 and not into ruining cars with Halfords extras but I would like to change the headlights to something a little stronger at some point etc.

So a big hello from me

Hi and welcome - I really like that colour.

If you want to upgrade the headlights I'm assuming yours are halogen - most people seem to recommend Osram Nightbreaker bulbs as an improvement, but there are other brands.

The best option would be a set of Bi-Xenon headlights, but they cost loads - and you need to have headlight washers to go with them!
Coupes because stunning!

Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

Hi Guys,

Yea thanks I really love the colour also, I've had a shot myself and so far got one side done...

I love the idea of super bright lights for night time driving, does anyone use additional spots that don't look out of place on the Z4? I was thinking about small chrome LED's.

Anyway, here is an update pic...

Welcome to the forum, that's really low mileage for the year, got any interior shots..does it have wood.
One of the worse things you can do to these is fit a stubby aerial, the car sulks if you remove the whippy

Very smart, an easy mod is fitting cruise control as the early cars were pre-wired and most were plug and play.
