I’m sure this zed is one I went to have a look at being sold by forum member Machpb. I remember the striking blue and unusual half leather. You’re correct, the photos don’t do justice, lovely in the flesh.
Yea there aren't too many auto Si in silver with blue & miles to match , i remember the car being for sale a good while at silly money

I think I got this car for a good price, a smidge over 5k, which I was happy with considering the spec and it is unusual.

Cheers Stu, you spec sounds bloody lovely.

Did a bit more digging and my car has Eibach Pro Street springs on it... a good thing?

Looks great with the blue interior! Very unique.

How does the auto box perform?

I’m running the Eibach’s on the rear and it feels great, didn’t like them on the front as they were far to hard for my liking so they are standard.

Lovely car .. I have the Si .. it’s a really cracking car

As for back box, I along with many on here have one of the DLV modded boxes which make the car sound as it should .. when you want it too ... but keeps it quiet when cruising, with no drone

I’d recommend

I personally really like it. in standard 'D' mode it is a lazy cruiser but in sport it sharpens up on the paddles and goes up and down fine. I live in the middle of London so there's a lot of stop start before the fun of B roads begins. I love a manual but would hate it in town.

I need to do the DLV mod, its not a want, its a need... just been reading about it then watched a little youtube video.

From what I have Mike does a back box exchange for £250 and makes the car sound as it always should have. I guess I need to PM him and then drive up to Merseyside?

Yes, just pm him to arrange it.

If the roof motor is still dead he can sort that too, as well as countless other jobs!

I took my Coupe to him last year as I'd had advisories for corroded rear brake pipes 2 years running, and Mike replaced them in copper - then cut and coded a flip-style key for me. :)
Coupes because stunning!

Cheers Mr Tidy, Mike has given me his number... Mike, will give you a call!

I’ve got the weirdest knocking noise which sounds like it’s coming from within the dash?! Rear brakes are squeaky too but very good! Had lots of fun today love how controllable it is to get the back end out!

First purchase... some wheel centres! Exciting! Wheels will need a refurb at some point.
