Hello from Surbiton!

Hello everyone,

It's lovely to meet you all and to join the Z4 Forum!

I recently bought my first BMW Z4 and I absolutely love it. I had a Mazda MX5 MK2.5 before, which was great, but the Z4 is in another class altogether.

It's done 54,000 miles and since I've owned it, I've made the following modifications:

I refurbished the original wheels and changed to the colour to Charcoal Anthracite, which I had done at The Wheel Specialists, near Chessington.
I swapped all the tyres for Michelin Pilot Sport 4.
I had cruise control installed by BMW, which is great for eating up those motorway miles!
A refurbished steering wheel from Royal Steering Wheels, as well as a new gear stick.
Finally, I've replaced the original radio/CD player for a Kenwood DAB radio.

Overall, the car is in great shape. The bodywork has a few scratches here and there but I can get them fixed in time. The seats could do with a few repairs and I'd like to get them recovered eventually. However, what I really want to do soon is get the roof motor moved to the boot. Can anyone recommend someone who can do this and how much it might cost? I'm based in Surbiton in Surrey but I'm happy to travel.

Thanks!

Alex

Thanks guys! Around £80 sounds great. I've just left a message for Bowser134 to see if he could do it.

I also wouldn't mind seeing what I could get the keys programmed to do. Do you know anyone who does this?

Welcome to the madhouse Alex!

I'm sure Bowser134 is the nearest to you for relocating your roof motor.

You have done some good upgrades already, but for programming keys for functions it might be worth doing a search for members who have Carly.

Thanks all, it's lovely to be part of the gang!

Mr. Tidy, is this what you mean by Carly?:

Are they fairly easy to use? I might buy one for myself if so.
