My z4 2.2 engine swap

Post by Twincammac » Sat May 19, 2018 9:28 am

Hello can anybody give me some information... Is it possible for a 2.5 engine to be fitted to my z4 it currently has the 2.2 in.... So wondering if all the auxiliaries off mine went onto the 2.5 would it be possible?? Or do I have to stick with the 2.2

Thanks for any information

I’d imagine it will fit easily enough but will need the 2.5 ecu etc- if it’s a replacement for a blown engine for ease I’d stick with the 2.2- easy enough to find as as far as I know the 320 is exactly the same engine
Z4 2.2 sterling grey,Msport seats,retrofit cupholders,cruise,footwell lights,sound gen and mfsw,18"ellipsoids,xenons+light washers,ZHPknob,folding mirrors,3"stubby,update wheel caps,gateway300 ipod, wind deflector to keep the wife happy!

320 is a 4 pot.. If you are set on a change, why not go for a 3.0?

Surely selling and buying one with proper engine is what you want.
