Doing the done thing by posting up pics and intro'ing myself as new to the site.
Now, having read a few comments on the E89 side of this forum, my new baby will not be everyone's cup of tea and here's why:
It's the 3 litre NA engine (no turbos to be found here), no idrive, no sat nav, no heated seats (and seats not m-sport), its automatic, 18's not 19's and has the plastic aluminium dashboard... It is truly poverty spec! posting.php?mode=post&f=11#
BUT I love it!
And that love for my new car comes from the test drive and then picking up and driving home on a late Friday afternoon and I've not stopped grinning since I took ownership some 3 weeks ago. I love the colour (black sapphire metallic) and the way she looks.
I used to have an E85 Z4 but when my granddaughter arrived I had to get more seats so the wife and I decided to get practical and sell the Zed to get a 330CI M Sport
Things have moved on and now I am back behind the wheel of another Zed.Look forward to chatting with you all down the line and sharing the highs (and lows) of ownership.
