Hi All
Just joined the forum 😊I have a 2005 2.2 previously a MGF owner but with very limited mechanical skills which leaves me at the mercy of local garages 😟 I’ve got a couple of problems with the car which hopefully I can resolve over the next couple of weeks, it would be good to be able to connect with some Z4 owners locally, anyway just thought I’d take this opportunity to say hello 👋

Hello Zulu59,

welcome to the forum...not really local to Manchester (I am in Dublin) but I am often there for business (not with my Z4 though).
I am in a similar situation: have the tools but not the bottle

Enjoy your new car, the weather seems promising!

Welcome to the forum.
Go into the market place Look up the Zed shed in the Discounts and forum services.
Ducklakeview (Mike) within about 15 miles from Manchester, he does a lot for forum members at extremely good rates.
I'm sure whatever your problems are Mike will have the answer.

Hi and welcome OP - nice looking Z4 you have there (even if it is suffering with orientation)!

+1 for contacting "ducklakeview" - I'm sure there isn't a Z4 problem he can't sort!

bz4kev, I have two issues the first one is the passenger door won't open either from the outside or inside, the second being an airbag light which I've been told is the B-post satellite sensor which I've been quoted £300 for supply program and fit .

firebobby, I loved the MGF , a lovely car but unfortunately they have a number of issues notably the head gasket, however you did feel as if you was sat on it rather than in it, as the driving position was quite high , but the Z4 is a far superior machine
