I have a MR2 turbo t-bar - Pisses water in when it rain which would be a disaster in a daily!
My wifes old T-bar used to leak around the glass panels at the top of the side windows.
I followed a guide on one of the MR2 forums to fix it and never had a leak after it. The seals seem to shrink a bit and then leave a gap between them.
It involved clingfilm and black silicone.
Basically cover one side of the seal with the clingfilm, the other side that should mate with it with silicone and then close the roof panel and leave to set. Once it has set pop the roof panel and remove the clingfilm. The silicone will have made a new seal closing the gap.

Nice one mate. One more thing to add to the to-do list for the MR2
