Thanks for the pic - looks good!

If your Zed's going to sleep outside then I can understand the hard top quest. Mine is lucky enough to sleep in a garage most of the time, which means I get the roof down every weekend that it's not pi$$ing down.

Either way, enjoy. :driving:

Oh, and meant to mention I have had two Volvo estates. Both 850s - a 2.0l and a 2.5l - both great cars - fast, comfortable and great load carriers.
I was fortunate enough to have an 850R many moons ago. A lovely drive.

Any plans other than the hardtop?
I'm not sure. It's in a really original state so not looking to do too much. The cup holders are gone (if they ever existed) so I may do some cup holder or net type thing on the inside. Early days though. I kinda like that it's such a clean car.

And you bought a 3.0i - now just enjoy!

They were never standard, not even on an ///M

I only do OEM mods or reversible ones. Some bigger wheels would look good though, daisies are a bit on the small side

Thanks Marlon. The smoothness of the power delivery has really surprised me.

Welcome to the forum Flake, I fitted 18" 107's alloys which really suit the early Zed. Stuartt has a hard top for sale, which will suit your car.
I also had 2 Volvo estates, 940 2.0 and an 850 2.5 TDI, solid cars.
You will have to join us when we have the next meet up at the AV8 cafe on Kemble airfield.
BMW Z4 30i 2003 auto 107's Whippy Toledo Blue
Beige M sport seats, wood dash
Toyota MR2 NA 1995
Triumph GT6 1972 (project)
Land Rover Discovery 1994 TDI (Tow car)

That's only down the road from me as it goes.
Will have a look at Stuart's hard top. Thanks!
