Newbie in Wilmington. Have an 03 Z4

Post by journeys » Wed Feb 28, 2018 3:15 pm

Spent hours last night detailing exterior and engine bay. Will get the interior this eeek.

Only issues with car is radio stuff where battery is hosed due to prev owner having a cooler that spilled. That blew out the driver door speaker.

And 2 cylinders need a new coil pack due to a miss.

And some brake person did not reconnect the brake sensor wire on right rear wheel. .

Other than that car looks good 70k. 2nd owner had car since 10000 miles in 2006 and only put 10k on it since May2016.

I am a little concerned about what to do with trans fluid at the 70k Mark.

Welcome. Re the trans fluid change; get both gearbox & rear axle done. Plenty of threads on here about it all saying how much smoother gear changes are following an oil change, both manual & auto.
Also don't forget brake fluid should be changed every 2 years

Welcome to the forum - as someone has already said, as you've detailed it we really need some photos!

+1 for changing the transmission fluid - I had mine done last year at 81K miles and the gear-change definitely felt better once done (manual box).
Coupes because stunning!
