Bought an E89 35i

Post by tqe92 » Wed Feb 14, 2018 4:50 pm

After lurking, reading the forums and trawling adverts for ages, finally decided an E89 was the one for me. Tricky to find with the right specification (manual, must have cruise control, must have hill start assist, should be quicker than my e92 325i) decided a 30i was the right one for me.

Missed out on one, saw one at a dealer that wasn't up to scratch (waterlogged manual in the boot, water in the boot, felt dangerous to drive).

Then came across a 2009 35i relatively nearby, manual, cruise control, active suspension, BMW warranty... Viewed it at the weekend, everything made sense, drove it home last night, super happy with the purchase.

Picture from the advert, not quite the weather for my own pictures yet!

Welcome from Blackpool. That's a nice car and I am truly envious of the joy and pleasure that lies ahead of you as you discover how good they are as I did when i bought mine.
