Hi All

Long time lurker here. I’ve had my Z4 Coupe for around 2.5 years and thanks to this forum its in better condition than when I bought it! I felt now would be as good a time as any to say hello, so, hi and thanks for everything.

The car itself is racking up the miles and feeling stronger than when I first drove it. It also has an interesting past, the previous owner converted it to run on LPG!

Since then I have re-converted it, replaced the water pump and stat, refurbed the ABS pump, changed most of the suspension bushes to polybush items, new brakes all around, cdv out, ZHP on, interior to LED bulbs, sidelights to LED, new xenon headlights, seat refurb, steering spoke refurb, new hub caps, Michelin PS4 tyres, stubby and aerial out completely, LED rear number plate units, new rear bumper with no parking sensors/lpg filler caps..., aero wipers, moved the first aid box to drivers side, new MAF sensor, 1 new lambda sensor, cleaned the intake/exhaust solenoids, cleaned the DISA valve, de-badged side and rear, fixed lots of small bits that had aged (such as the cup holders), lots of wax and polish and several full services.

I’m sure I have forgotten things but the vast majority of the above is down to you all, so thanks again!

Matt

Thanks!

I also fixed a large exhaust leak and the usual snapping exhaust bracket, and I replaced the battery, engine cover and windscreen.

Nice looking Zed. Good that you have emerged from the shadows after more than two years.

The ///M Roadster is, of course, the ultimate goal in Zed ownership! :P
///M Roadster. 2007 Black/Black. Rear spoiler, whippy aerial, mud flaps and gimp-style wind deflector! :)

Indeed, I would love an M Roadster but my Coupe is still a fantastic car.

This car hasn't been LPG since July 2015, that is strange though!
Apparently the engine takes LPG pretty well, I just decided that I would prefer to run it on SUL so I pulled all the gubbins out. Plus it more than doubled the size of the boot...
