To wave or not to wave...?

There’s a lot of BMW cars that look just like a Z4 directly from the front! So maybe it’s a recognition thing ?

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Still waving at any other zed, and still getting the 'who the f**k are you' look  I actually have more luck with wave backs from other local marques! The Ferrari owners are the best around me, often they wave before I do.
Though, do have a particular Z3 who I 'race' through the town every time we meet on the journey home! :driving:

Drove past a black E89 in Green Lane, Worcester Park today and exchanged a nod of the head with the lady driving - so Hi if she is on here! :)

That's the first time in 4 years I've had any sort of acknowledgement from an E89 driver! (Apart from those I've met and spoken to obviously).
Coupes because stunning!

In the Netherlands it's 50/50.
But if you see a black rhd z4 on your travels there and a demented looking blonde chick waving both hands in the air from the passenger seat that'll be me and my ever so subtly sarcastic ladyfriend Laura

I’m the same as everyone else, no acknowledgement whatsoever. I see quite a few Zeds on my commute to and from work and wonder if any are on here?? A303/A34/M3/M27.

Lau firmly knows her place when we're in the zed. Besides which, my offer to let her drive is usually met with 'dont wanna'.

Came across an Alpina waiting at a road junction on our way to AV8. Both of us waving like loons and the lady driver just sat looking at us, I don't think the smoke screen from the pina helped though.

I always got a flash or a wave in my TF’s of my Mx5 and always thought I was nice how the community was like that. Since owning my z4 I have seen 2 others and both have returned the wave. Long may it continue

Always try and make eye contact with any one remotely interested but as all this commuting lark is new to me every one seems in a world of their own each day each way on my new 80 mile commute.

Maybe as im new to commuting I haven't been zombie fried yet ... :?
