Just a quick intro new Scottish member, picked up my ruby black coupe with red leather and piano black trim about a month ago. The only one at the time I could find advertised in scotland And haven’t seen any in abz since purchase but know there are a few.
Since I got it fitted new winter kumho tyres (it’s the winter daily after all) to the newly refurbed mv2 wheels and new drivers cupholder and new glovebox.
Next task is upgrading the headlight bulbs as they are shocking. Also building up to a retrofit of cruise. BMW aberdeen quoted £700 which isn’t gonna happen so will do a diy.
Also a bit clunky around the rear so maybe needs some bushes. Coil springs are fine as that was checked when tyres fitted.

Welcome to the forum, thats a great colour combo - ruby black / red leather / piano dash
As for cruise - around £130 will get you the stalk and wiring loom (Sopers BMW Lincoln) then a decent auto electrician should fit it for no more than £100. It cost me £230 all in (That was before srhutch offered the service to forum members)

As much as we know what they look like, we do like photos on here!

Ruby Black looks fantastic on the few days we have some sunshine (although otherwise it seems to just look black).

As far as cruise goes you can order the stalk from Sopers of Lincoln (mention the forum for a discount), the location for the stalk is outlined on the inside of the steering column cowl so can be cut out with a Dremel or similar and the supplementary loom can be obtained here:- viewtopic.php?f=2&t=97223
