That's a pretty tame post by your standards!
You could have mentioned the mellifluous blending of the colour palette to create the Dog's danglies.

I think young MAD is learning to tame it down a little
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

It’s been a long week waiting for collection day, but it’s finally here!! Will be collecting the red beast tomorrow morning. Fresh MOT and service done, and one year warranty from the dealer. Fingers crossed it’s all okay. Will post some more pics over next few days.

Not much sleep tonight then?
Hope you've insisted on a full tank of petrol.

Nice motor and welcome
As for petrol, as long as you have enough to get you to Sunderland then no problem, appears to be no issues up here.

Well picked her up today, all good, fully serviced with new front disks and pads, years MOT and 12 month warranty, and tank of petrol, saved me queuing! Think she looks great, already bought and using a tune2air, so at least I have iPhone music.

Dear Comrade Ianb62,
Your new motor car looks more than magnificent; the only issue I have is that within contiguous posts both Mr Tidy and Pondrew created an conjoined catachresis within the utilisation of 'mellifluous'. Mellifluous is a term used by a musicologist in describing something pleasingly smooth and musical to the ear. This notwithstanding, were they describing the exhaust note of your most pulchritudinous of machines I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that it does emit quite wonderfully aurally mellifluous note from the zorst. Indeed, as your machine is a real 'Honey' it would have been reasonably acceptable were comrades Mr Tidy and Pondrew to have described it as 'meliferous' but even this would have technically placed both Mr Tidy and Pondrew within the categorisation of 'Tortfeasors'. For myself I suffer with an pleonasmic condition; but both the aforementioned comrades from time to time commit the cardinal sin of committing solecisms which, occasionally is apodictic within their posts, They also suffer with an aspect of discombobulation and more frequently obfuscation. From this you will quite clearly understand that this post has an propaedeutic aspect. For my part I am engaged upon this forum solely for the purpose of preciosity which some find more than propitious, but others not. This notwithstanding, generally I do enjoy a most happy propinquity with fellow comrades, no doubt this is due to the wonderfully prelapsarian aspect of my personality and character, such that I frequently find myself in the position of cynosure, although some would say that I am an epater.
Once again, I really do think your new car is an absolutely blissful machine within which my fervent hope and desire is that you enjoy an abundance of happy intercourse.
With kind regards,
MAD
